A Bit About Me
I was born and raised on Oahu, HI with my family. I have spent years of my life discovering my identity as a child of 6 siblings and a twin to boot. However, I'm grateful for the cultural upbringing I had with parents of different ethnicities and being surrounded by the melting pot that is Hawai'i. It has allowed me the space and opportunities to reflect the values I believe in and continue to hold as a person today.
I brought that insight and awareness of cohesion and differences as I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Hawai'i, Manoa. I pursued studies on the impact of other's feedbacks had on our self-view. After graduating with my bachelor's degree, I gained a wealth of knowledge while working with individuals and families of those on the Autism Spectrum. It sparked the passion to recognize that we are a community of systems and the progress we make is from our own effort and the support our family and friends give us during our journey.
So therefore, I moved to the 9th island (Las Vegas, NV) to learn more of how to help individuals, couples and families become their best versions of themselves through the education and training from University of Nevada, Las Vegas' masters program in Couples and Family Therapy in 2018. Since then, I have been working with clients from NV and HI for specialized issues such as depression, ADHD, betrayal trauma, attachment styles and family dynamics. All of my client's well-being and safety is a top priority as they give me the privilege of being a part of their journey to discovering their true identities and strengths. If you think we would be a good match, please feel free to get in touch with me for more information. Mahalo!
